South Lake Tahoe retreat

The women in our church had a retreat. Thanks for Kathy's generosity and hospitality. I absolutely love this trip. Kathy's house is not at the commercial area, so we really got to relax and had some quiet time for ourselves. I wish I had a cabin like that too.

Thank you , Kathy.

Nicole and Ben-Aug 11th

Wow! I finally finished editing Nicole and Ben's wedding photos.
I like to shoot the weddings from a same family. It's always good that we have seen each other before and feel a bit familiar.
Nicole and Ben were up to do anything I suggest. They ran, laid and by the end Ben's forehead got sunburned pretty bad. Oops! Sorry Ben. It was a busy Saturday at Oakland temple. I think it worked out fine and we got some good shots.

The next one is my favorite of the day.

Isn't she adorable?

Carissa & Michael

Carissa and Michael were married on July 6th at the LDS Oakland temple. They are a really cute couple and very easy to work with. I had a great time photographing them.
Carissa's twin sister, Nicole, is getting married at the same temple in about 2 weeks. I'm going to take pictures of her big day too. I can't wait. What a chance!
Here are some of my favorites of Carissa and Michael.

Summertime

Kids have been home for a month. We're doing Chinese school again this year. They are doing good. Summer in north California is quite nice. We can still be outside in the mid-day as long as we are under the shade.
We got a puppy. His name is Cole and he is a lab mix. He is a really good dog. Glen and Leah LOVE him. Carlton and Camellia are still adjusting having a dog home.

prairie city

I don't think Prairie city is really a city. It's probably a good thing that is not a city. It's just miles of yellow grass. I LOVE this place. It's only about 20 minutes drive from our house.
I hope someday I can shoot a family portrait or engagement there. It's going to be different.
